Our Story

Founded in 1975 by Leon Lowe.

Lowe Roofing, Inc. (LRI) was founded by Leon Lowe and has been family owned and operated ever since. LRI began by servicing the residential and commercial roofing needs of the northern Black Hills in 1975.

Early on we learned that quality craftsmanship and superior products make for the best roof system. LRI works hard to make those qualities the cornerstone of every roof system we install. Fifty years and six million square feet later, that principle hasn't changed.

We specialize in schools, hospitals, and large commercial spaces — but no project is too small. Over the years LRI has grown to include two locations, Whitewood, SD and Gillette, WY, with 25–50 employees depending on the season.
